Huerfano County Road 590: Road improvements included changes in the vertical alignment, grading of road side ditches, sizing culverts and design of a small detention pond.

Consultant Services:  Atencio Engineering is the Huerfano County Consultant for all engineering services on an “as needed” basis.  The contract with Huerfano County is a two year term. 

Second Street Trail – Phase I:  Engineering design for a two mile shared trail.  Trail design consists of an asphalt pathway for pedestrian and bike traffic and a native material pathway for equestrian riders.  Trail meets all ADA requirements.  Design is presently being reviewed by the Department of Transportation (CDOT) and summer 2009 construction is anticipated.  Design consists of coordination efforts with County staff as well as CDOT representatives.  An aggressive design schedule was requested by the client and Atencio Engineering more than adequately met the request.
